3. Distance & Connection: Exploring Boundaries in Real Time

2 hours
On Zoom
Please book this session for between 20-24th April ONLY

About this session
This session helps you tune into your body, your boundaries, and your experience of closeness and distance in real time. Through structured, embodied exercises, you’ll notice what feels comfortable, what feels too close or too far, and how your body signals these moments.

We begin with a short check in, short landing embodiment practice, intention setting for the session.

Then we combine two practices:
1. The Distance Game – explore proximity, agency, and personal power as you guide and respond to another’s movement, noticing subtle cues and your internal responses.
2. Take a Walk With Me – cultivate awareness of your sensory experience and emotional responses as you move through your environment, translating observations into a creative “Body Poem.”
These exercises develop interoception, relational presence, and the ability to express and receive boundaries with clarity.

In this session, you will:
  • discover your comfort and discomfort with closeness and distance
  • notice somatic signals and emotional responses in real time
  • practice agency and communication through gesture and movement
  • deepen awareness of how your body and attention shape relational dynamics
