PAID MUSICIAN-PERFORMER CALL OUT
An unique opportunity! The show is called "Fiercely Visible". It will be a theatrical concert and ritual in the spirit of clown, using my songs. We will craft the in-between patter into the absurd and beautiful. I am looking for 2 musicians who are performers / performers who are musicians (actor, clown, dancer etc) to join a research and development phase and perform work in progress. If you're a musician who doesn't have professional experience in another performance form but likes the idea of and feels comfortable to move, dialogue and play then please still apply. This is a NI Arts Council funded project.
Dates are 25-27 March and 14-28 April plus another couple of dates after for performances.
There are 4 performer-musicians in total including me.
We will work with a theatre director who specialises in shamanic clown
To apply you should play either…
- Drums/percussion - we won’t use a drum kit, but rather more percussion and djembe/cahon etc
- Bass guitar and/or cello and/or electronic musician/synths
About My Music
A musical adventure into consciousness from the heart, to uplift and inspire. My first album "NITYA" is a cosmic chill electro journey in the songs "Infinite Joy" & "You are Everything", switching to heartfelt piano in "Better and Better", and acoustic guitar layers in "Dancing with the Elements" and more...
I'm a Northern Irish musician, playing and writing vocals, piano and guitar for some years. I took a break to run away with the circus for a decade or so. My passion for music resurfaced in 2020. I created and recorded in ways I never imagined, supported by an amazing community in Koh Phangan, Thailand, and then in N.Ireland with the skill and creative collaboration of brilliant producer and musician, Michael Mormecha, of Tree Song Studios, in 2022.
